The Asian American (Studies) Initiative, AAI, aims to reform the college’s academic offerings, in particular by advocating for the inclusion of Asian American Studies. In the Spring 2020 semester, DMP and AAI collaborated on a Takeover week. This programming brought the experiences of Asian and Asian-American students to the forefront, furthering demonstrating the impact that adding an academic discipline would have on the student body.
